GENERAL INFORMATION

The MEWA special needs stroller for children is dedicated to small users in the height range of 90 – 125 cm and a maximum weight of 40 kg.

Its durable construction consisting of a frame and seat combined with pleasant and easy handling makes the wheelchair an indispensable support in everyday functioning for both the child and the caregiver.
The MEWA special wheelchair offers many configuration options thanks to the angular adjustment systems in the backrest, seat and footrest. A wide range of settings allows you to adjust the wheelchair to the individual needs of the child. Additionally, the possibility of installing, among others, adjustable supports and additional inserts (shallowing and narrowing) provides the young passenger with even greater comfort and safety while traveling.

The innovative construction of the MEWA stroller and its advanced capabilities go hand in hand with an elegant, yet modern design. Its appearance does not reveal its specialist purpose, thanks to carefully designed functions that perfectly support the transport of children requiring special care.

The stroller is available in the following colors: GREY, GREEN, BEIGE and BLACK.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

In case of any contraindications to sitting position &/or passive verticalization stroller adjustments should be consulted with physiotherapist or physician-in-charge.

CONSTRUCTION

The construction of the MEWA special stroller consists of two elements: the frame and the seat. The seat is attached to the frame using special hooks, the clear snapping of which signals the correct installation of the seat.

ATTENTION! Before placing the child in the stroller, make sure that the hooks are properly snapped by grabbing the seat and shaking it gently. A correctly installed seat will remain in its position.

The seat mounting system used in the MEWA stroller on the frame allows it to be mounted facing forwards or backwards to the direction of travel.

ADJUSTMENTS

With the help of appropriately selected accessories and a few simple steps, the MEWA special stroller can be easily adjusted to the needs of children between 90 and 125 cm tall and weighing up to 40 kg.

Thanks to the seat minimizing kit (1), adjustable pads (2), placing the wedge (3) inside the seat and setting the footrest at the highest level, the stroller adapts perfectly to the smallest users.

As the child grows, simply remove the seat minimizing kit, replacing them with a cushion pillows (4), modify position of both pads and wedge accordingly, and lower the footrest to provide the child with comfortable support for their legs.
