GENERAL INFORMATION

The DELFI bath chair is designed for young patients weighing up to 30 kg. Its primary task is to allow the caregiver to freely perform bathing and hygiene activities on the user placed on it, with proper protection and in an optimal position for the user. The relatively large surface area of the chairallows the caregiver to perform free movements. The DELFI bath chair is designed for use in the bath or shower.

A number of necessary safety features, such as an adjustable stabilizing headrest, a torso stabilizing belt and leg stabilizing straps significantly contribute to the user’s safety while bathing. The recliner’s supports are wrapped in foam, providing grip and protecting surfaces from scratches.

Possibility of adjusting individual segments of the bath seat – the angle of the headrest, the angle of the backrest and the footrest, combined with the possibility of adjusting the height of the backrest and the depth of the seat, allows you to optimize the patient’s position and adapt the product to the individual user parameters within the indicated range.

INDICATIONS

Clinical indications include cerebral palsy, meningeal hernia, dystrophies, paresis, limb injuries, etc.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / RISK

Improper positioning and keeping a person in one position for a long time can have negative consequences.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The user is not allowed to use the recliner alone, but only with the help of a caregiver.

Use of the device other than described is prohibited. The device should be used as prescribed by the attending physician or physiotherapist.

CONSTRUCTION

The DELFI bath chair has an aluminum frame construction with movable segments adjustable at neck (1), hip (2) and thigh (3) heights. It also has adjustable backrest height and seat depth, allowing the device to be adjusted to the individual patient’s needs.

The lightweight frame is made of aluminum tubes filled with polyurethane foam, preventing water from entering them. Stretched over it, the perforated upholstery made of synthetic fabric is inert to water, and its structure affects the short drying time of the deckchair.

This lightweight (4.9 kg) and compact piece of equipment works well at home in both the bathtub and shower stall.
